Spiraling For Change

The goal of this fundraiser is to collect funding for SpiralScouts International, a scouting program for families of alternative faiths. 

Each circle leader will provide each scout in their circle with labels for their collection containers.  We suggest empty, clean milk cartons, or water bottles, but any recyclable container will work.  The scouts will collect spare change.  They are welcome to ask friends and family to empty out their car consoles, clean out their couches, any amount of change at all is great!  Scouts may also go around their neighborhoods, but only with a parent or guardian present. The scouts will begin collecting no sooner than December 1, 2008.  Collection will continue until January 1, 2009, upon which time the circle leaders will collect each scout’s change and convert 90% into a money order for SpiralScouts International.  Money Orders should be received by headquarters no later than January 15 , 2009.

Each circle will receive 10% of their collection, and the circle that collects the  most will receive their next charter renewal free!
