How You Can Help
There are many ways you can help SpiralScouts grow and succeed. Time, donations - even a few things you don't have to think about at all!
Check out our newest fundraiser:
The Earth Child's Handbook by Brigid Ashwood
and our on-going fundraisers:
Magick for the Kitchen Witch by Deanna Anderson
Amber K.'s Pagan Kids' Activity Book
Stone Soup a Pagan Music CD by Witch's Mark
The Green Prince's Father by Miles Batty
Don't need a book or CD? Not Pagan? Make a purchase from Mother Earth Fundraising. To credit SpiralScouts International, when you go to the opening page, under "Shop Now", select North Carolina and then SpiralScouts International. Or you can ask your local Circle Leader if they have a seller account and their Circle can be credited as well!
Want something to show your support? Purchase logo wear at our CafePress store, and we get a small profit too!
You can always donate by sending us a check or money order. Or you can save yourself the cost of the stamp, and use Paypal:
GoodSearch.com - a search engine that donates a portion of their advertising revenue to non-profit organizations. Go to http://www.goodsearch.com and enter "SpiralScouts International" into the "I support" box, then click "verify." Then search as usual.
Join by clicking on the icon and registering on their site, then use their online shopping links to over 600 websites to shop, and a portion of your purchases are donated to us.
Volunteering:
We are always looking for behind-the-scenes volunteers - and some more public volunteers too.
Tribal coordinators are needed for many states - as the single point of contact for your region, you answer questions about SpiralScouts and help new Circles and Hearths get started. Contact Anita Anthony if you are interested. PC organizers are welcome to apply for a TC position.
Other positions are also available. We are currently looking to fill the following specific positions:
- Sewers, help by sewing capuches and/or sashes. Contact the Store Manager if you are interested in this position (multiple sewers are needed).
- Committee members-- if you are interested in helping with any of the following commitees, please contact the commitee chair listed.
- Website - Debbie Fligor webmaster@spiralscouts.org
- Public Relations - Morn Geiger publicrelations@spiralscouts.org
- Badge Development - Joan Cole badgedevelopment@spiralscouts.org
- Badge Design - Joan Cole badgedevelopment@spiralscouts.org
- Fundraising - Jami Ortiz fundraising@spiralscouts.org
All volunteers must be registered members of SpiralScouts International. Registration is $20, and you must pass a background check every three years ($10) even if you do have a child registered in a Circle or Hearth.
For more information about SpiralScouts opportunities, contact Donna Conrad.
